Improved my mile time again today. I’m done to 8:36, which is almost to my middle/high school mile time of about 8:20 I think. Then I did around 30-45 mins of weight machines.

I went to the gym with my boyfriend today so we didn’t stay very long. On the bright side, I actually got to use the squat racks for the first time.

Today’s Exercise:

13 mins run/jog alternating 2.5 mins cool down walk 40 mins weight machines 15 mins stationary bicycle (‘hill’ workout)

I reached my goal of a 10 mile run with 6 weeks to spare! It’s such a time commitment though. I’m considering doing a shorter distance twice a day but I’m not really sure how that’ll work out with my variable schedule.

Exercise for today was 6 miles in 1hr 4 mins. My pace is getting faster! I don’t know how I got exactly 6 because I start and stop right in front of my apartment. It makes me feel special though, haha.

As the weather gets warmer, I know I should be using sun block but I just dislike the way it feels. But then I’ll get tan and I hate that as well. :/

Today I did a 6.57 mile run in 1hr 15 mins.

I need to increase my distance faster if I want 10 miles by mid June. But I’m worried that I’m pushing myself too hard too fast and then have to stop running for a while.

It’s also getting to be a lot hotter outside, which I hate. I don’t know how I’m going to be running when it starts getting past 80F.. Definitely not going outside when it’s 100F, I don’t even want to get out of bed when it’s that hot.

9 min 3 second mile today, which is 7 seconds faster than last week. Then I did 40 minutes of weight machines and 20 minutes of ballet stuff.

There was a guy who took the leg press machine for like 20 minutes today… Most of the time he wasn’t even using it! He would be stretching or talking to a friend. It was somewhat crowded at the time I went so it was totally inconsiderate of him. :/

Exercise for the day was a 6.25 mile jog in 1hr 12 mins.

It’s super windy today, though. I think weather.com said that it would be around 25mph for most of the day with super high pollen alert. Luckily I took Claritin earlier this morning so I was only sniffling a little bit.

I need to find a route that is 5 miles one way so that I can reach my goal of a 10 mile jog. Otherwise I have to run back and forth multiple times to get that distance, which I prefer not to do.

Finished my first 5K this morning! It went by so quickly because there were so many people there. My boyfriend surprised me by coming (my original plan was to go with a friend but they couldn’t make it. I finished it in 32:02 minutes, which is over my goal but that’s okay. I stayed with my boyfriend until the last mile and ran/sprinted the end. I’d love to do more races but they can sometimes get pretty expensive.

Just jogged 6.12 miles on 1hr 11 mins. That’s a personal record for distance so far. I think my goal is to be able to jog 10 miles in one session by the end of the quarter.

The weather is perfect for running right now. It was supposed to ‘storm’ but I’m glad that didn’t happen. My 5K is on Sunday but there’s a chance of rain. :/

Today, I jogged 4.07mi in 47:22mins. It’s been 1.5wk since my last run and I could definitely tell.

My 5K is on Sunday so I’m planning on running Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and resting Sunday.
